Lyric Cook-Morrissey & Elizabeth Collins | The Evansdale Murders (Part 1)
This episode discusses true crime and may contain distressing details. Listener discretion is advised.
Inside this episode
In July 2012, cousins Lyric Cook-Morrissey (10) and Elizabeth Collins (8) went for a bike ride in Evansdale, Iowa—and never came home.
When their bikes were discovered abandoned near Meyers Lake, a quiet summer afternoon quickly turned into one of the largest search efforts the town had ever seen.
In Part 1, we walk through the timeline of the girls’ disappearance, the early investigation, and the clues that suggested something far more sinister than two kids simply getting lost.
Grab a brew and follow the clues.
